Manitowoc, WI - June 25, 2021 - The Dramm Corporation has begun construction of its new headquarters in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

The new 98,000 sq. ft. building will be Dramm's first newly constructed building. Dramm started as a basement operation and then moved into two smaller buildings on the south side of Manitowoc before purchasing the current facility on North 18th street. After four additions to the North 18th street building, the current site is at the property capacity with no options to expand.

The new headquarters site, located in the Manitowoc Industrial Park, will increase Dramm's warehouse and office space. Additionally, there will be the capability to expand in the future. The company has grown while staying committed to being a family owned and operated business, remaining in Manitowoc County. Dramm now has 93 employees and is excited to offer more office and warehouse space.

"We are excited for this next stage of growth and glad to be doing it in Manitowoc," Hans Dramm, President of Dramm, said.

The warehouse construction is scheduled to be completed in October 2021, while the office construction will be completed in May 2022.

The new headquarters will feature:
- A 2,400 sq. ft. research greenhouse for testing and demonstrating products of Dramm's four business segments: Commercial Greenhouse Equipment, Retail Gardening Products, Drammatic Organic Fertilizer, and DRAMMwater for greenhouse water treatment systems.
- A 621 sq. ft. testing facility to maintain Dramm's high-quality products
- A large showroom to display products and hold meetings

"We have a great team at Dramm!" said Heidi Dramm. "We wouldn't be at this point without them or without the good decision making of my brother, Hans, my father, Kurt Dramm, and family members before us. We look forward to what the future holds."

The Dramm Corporation started in 1941 with John Dramm inventing a product to water plants in the greenhouse quickly and efficiently. He designed the 400 Water Breaker Nozzle, which applied large quantities of water in a soft steam while conserving water. The spirit of innovation and commitment to new ideas and solutions continues today in Dramm's four business segments: Commercial Greenhouse Equipment, Retail Gardening Products, Drammatic Organic Fertilizer, and DRAMMwater for greenhouse water treatment systems. The Dramm Corporation has a production facility in Algoma, Wisconsin, an office in Canada, and a warehouse in the Netherlands for European sales distribution.
